Collection of personal data
At NOVA Spektrum we take your online privacy and safety very serious. At the same time we strive to give you the best possible experience and user friendliness with our digital services. We therefore collect some information when you purchase tickets, register to our newsletters and/or register for our events.
You will be notified every time we collect data. These include your name, phone number, email address or your private address, purchasing information and payment details. For certain arrangements we also collect additional information (such as company and interests) in order to further develop our arrangements and give the best possible user experience. It is not allowed to register this information on behalf of others without their explicit consent.
What do we use this information for?
NOVA Spektrum collects personal data for accreditation, purchasing of tickets and periodic newsletters and other commercial information regarding our events.
Your email address is collected so that we can send you confirmation of your ticket purchase or registration. Your name will at some events be used for a physical name badge at our accreditation. Email will also be used to target marketing for relevant events.
NOVA Spektrum will under no circumstance sell personal data to any third parties.
Who can we share this information with?
NOVA Spektrum can share or transfer the information to external event arrangers in order to execute the event. We take all technical, organizational and legally reasonable measures to secure that your information is handled safely and is protected while being transferred or shared.
NOVA Spektrum can deliver necessary information to authorities such as the police, tax office or other authorities if we are required to do so by law or if you have consented to this specifically.
Storing data
NOVA Spektrum will handle and store your personal data as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose described in this privacy policy statement and allowed under current data privacy laws.
Your rights to access, change or deletion
You have right to access the data stored in your name handled by NOVA Spektrum, but according to certain legal exceptions. You have the right to correct erroneous or incomplete information regarding yourself. You also have the right to protest collection and further handling of your personal data.
You have the right to ask for your personal data to be deleted in the case of this information not longer being necessary for its initial purpose. Beware that there might be legal bindings that prevents us from deleting immediately full or partial information. These bindings are based on financial and consumer protection laws. In those cases we will freeze the information we are required to store, so that it will not be used for any other purpose than to meet the legal obligations.
